Implementing Men's Fraternity
 The Results to Expect
When men connect in life-changing ways, a powerful ripple effect touches families, workplaces, and the community. Deeper connections with God and other men inspire participants to connect more meaningfully in all facets of their lives including with their children and spouse. They climb beyond the walls of isolation and aspire to a biblical viewpoint marked by integrity, boldness, and compassion.
Through this powerful series, men learn to reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and expect God’s greater reward.
Setting Up the Program
EWYL is designed to be easily facilitated and implemented. Each lesson has a corresponding DVD, worksheet, discussion questions, and homework. A typical appointment takes an hour with the client watching the DVD and filling out the worksheet. After the DVD finishes the client advocate goes through it with the client, answers any questions, and provides the homework for completion at home. These short lessons are meaningful and timeless - and take only a little time to complete.
Making it Worth it
The men who come into your clinic are usually open to learning. While their first lessons may be taught by your female volunteers, the ideal is a program taught by a man to men. Because this is so complete and easy to present, men with a heart for other young men will be eager to volunteer. To help encourage young men to attend, consider using the same concept as you offer for your moms – incentives. Create “Daddy Dollars” “Hero Dollars” or other currency that is exclusive to this program. Have sports items, tools or electronics as your rewards. Combine that incentive with client advocates care and your male clients will be on their way to becoming better fathers and men of character.
