Testimonials

“Do you have anything for guys?” I cant’ tell you how many times we were asked this over the years. The men would come in with their partners (often reluctantly at first) and would find that they really liked learning. This question sent us on a quest for a program specifically for men. And Men’s Fraternity is the answer. After finding this program and implementing it, we had young men excited about coming. Most met on a men’s night with a male facilitator. Soon we expanded to our Whiteriver clinic on the Apache Indian Reservation. It was so successful that we received a grant to pay the salary of a man to direct the program. It is now taken into the jail every week and also part of the addiction treatment center program. We have since launched it in our third clinic in Springerville.

The beauty of this program is that it is very easy to facilitate. All you need is a dedicated male volunteer who will meet weekly with the participants. The material on the DVD is compelling and holds the men’s interest. They look forward to coming to the next class. With the worksheets, it makes discussion easy and natural.

This program is the answer to all PCC’s who want to have a men’s program that addresses not just fatherhood, but manhood.

I am amazed at the response we have received from hosting this program. Our dads are interacting with mature Christian men, sharing from their pasts, and learning from each other as well as the program. Our participants are excited about this material and the fact that they can earn things for their families. The program in the first couple of weeks has doubled in participation. We eagerly anticipating our full scale launch in the fall.

“I was 21 years old, a new husband and expecting our first baby. I came out of drugs and other problems. This program was just what I needed. I wanted to be the best husband and father I could but didn’t know what that looked like. Men’s Fraternity answered my questions and helped me create a plan of action for my life. It was cool meeting with the other guys and talking about what we learned. This is an awesome program.”

I have presented this program many times to different groups of young men. We meet at the Living Hope Women’s Center an evening a week. This program is awesome to teach. I love seeing the guys in the group bond and open up about their past, their struggles and their dreams. Not something guys normally do. It teaches them the precepts of what being a man of character is in every aspect of their lives. It is funny, profound, entertaining and inspirational. I have been teaching the Fatherhood Program at the Living Hope Women’s Center now for three years and I love what I do. I see the impact of this program and the changed lives and it keeps me excited!
